Among the fiery pit - Disney Christmas Contest

Since I don't have any Christmasy picture to share with you this time, I'm posting this picture for a Christmas contest!

Dunno if you knew that, but I'm a huge Disney fan, although I don't post that much fanart, and I'm a Star Wars fan too! I went to see the new movie on Day 1' and I loved it! Not going to spoil anything to you, don't worry!

So, in this contest held by the group Disney-club, two of my favorite fandoms meet in a great mashup! I love mashups.

The task was to draw a Disney character along with a Star Wars character, or to draw some Disney characters dressed up as they were part of the Star Wars universe.

I chose to draw Quasimodo, Esmeralda and Frollo from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", one of my favourite Disney movies! It's not one of the most popular ones, but I love Frollo, he's one of the evilest and most realistic characters of all time, imho!

So, I wanted to depict the scene from the movie in which Frollo chases Quasimodo and Esmeralda on one of the towers of Notre Dame (one of my favorite scenes!).

I switched landscapes and put the hangar from Star Wars' Death Star, reprising the scene with Luke facing Darth Vader in episode V. In fact, Quasimodo is dressed up as Luke Skywalker, while Esmeralda has Leia's hair and dress; Frollo, of course, is Darth Vader (I tweaked his dress' colors a bit to resemble his original outfit, with black and purple stripes).

I added some light coming from the bottom to resemble the fire and flames at the feet of Notre Dame, in the final duel's scene from the movie.

This took me a while to finish, but I'm pretty satisfied with the final result!
