Sunbathing Hippowdon - Natural Habitat Contest

Contest entry for a Pokémon contest that's been up for a wile, really, but I can't help but submitting things on the last day. xD

The task was to draw a Pokémon in its hypotethical natural habitat. I chose to draw HIPPOWDON!

Hippowdon are the subject of my drawing, but I've thrown some Hippopotas in there, too (and a Mandibuzz!). Even so, I think the focus clearly remain the Hippowdon chilling under the sun.

I thought their natural habitat could be a place similiar to both a dry desert and a torrid Savannah. So their land is not that pretty looking, but they don't care. They love taking sun baths anyway.
